It featured the debut of new music director Chris Gibson, who took us deeper into the world of improvisation and \u201cspontaneous composition\u201d. We have also seen a number of new pieces of music, including King Crimson\u2019s <em>Vrooom<\/em>, a haunting version of <em>Neptune<\/em> from Gustav Holst\u2019s \u201cThe Planets\u201d, a new scorcher from Bob Williams <em>Ninth Guitar E<\/em> and perhaps even a few more surprises before closing night In addition to new music, we\u2019ve continued to work with electric guitarist and texturist Joel Palmer and oboist Darlene Franz.
