They may have started out as the back bone of the League of Crafty Guitarists but they have moved on from the Fripp\/Crimson vibe in a big way while still respecting their roots. Their brand new album, Andromeda is a dazzling instrumental set that doesn&#8217;t come within a mile of a clich\u00e9, it&#8217;s one of those magical sets that blows progressive ears wide open to the new possibilities. Hot stuff throughout.<\/p>\n<p>Opening for the CALIFORNIA GUITAR TRIO will be an ensemble of players from the weekly production, TUNING THE AIR, whose guitar circulations were called &#8220;magical notes around the circumference of Fremont Abbey&#8221; by the Seattle\u00a0Times.
